For those of you who missed out on our musicale last Friday, here is the video of the Shostakovich 1st string quartet. Artur Girsky, Natasha Bazhanov, Julie Whitton and yours truly. What a wonderful piece! Only 16 minutes long, but so melodic, inventive, energetic and in its own way, romantic. We hope to present more of his fabulous string quartets- there are 15 to choose from!
